Sports Physical Time!
Another summer has flown by and classes are starting! This may also mean your child may be needing a sports physical for their upcoming sports season. Schools require this as Kansas state law wants them to pass a physical exam prior to participation in their sport(s).
We have already been seeing a lot of students at the clinic ensuring our Wichita athletes stay safe at practices and in upcoming competition!
If you haven’t already done so, or are stressing to get in last minute, don’t worry as we will detail any questions you may have below:
How much does the exam cost?
Our sports physicals cost are $35.
Where are you located?
We have two convenient Wichita locations that are close to all high schools. Our west location is off the Ridge exit by the airport and the east office is in the vicinity of Bradley Fair.
How long will it take?
Our appointment times are set for twenty minutes, but sometimes are done sooner. We do not, however, accept walk-ins as we may be serving other patients. The easiest way to schedule would be here on our website: https://ictmjc.janeapp.com/. You can find a time that works for you and the clinician so you are not waiting for long periods like at other health clinics.
Do you do exams for teams or groups at a time?
Are you a college or high school sports team, or an administrator that wants us to come to you? This is a convenient option to knock out many athletes at once. We bring all the necessary materials to do the exams on-site at the school so parents don’t have to be driving around looking for an opening last minute. Additionally, part of the proceeds for the exams we donate back to the school for after school programs or fundraiser of your choice! It’s truly a win-win for all parties.
