Foam Rolling Friday

Happy Friday everyone! I am very excited to announce that I will be blogging and vlogging every Friday for 1 year, on all things related to foam rolling. I will be honest with you though, my desire to do this is somewhat selfish: I want to do this to hold myself accountable requiring me to put my money where my mouth is. Health is obviously a priority to me, but even with stating that, I get busy with everything that life demands. I am no different from anyone else. I am human and will look for ways to make excuses. Health and fitness is a passion of mine and in sharing that, with all of you, I hope you can find an avenue to better your lives as well. So this is me pledging my commitment to myself and for all of you to read.

Why Foam Rolling?

Foam rolling is a great, affordable, and time saving way for you to treat, maintain, and improve your physical health. You only get one life to live. So I ask you, why wouldn’t you want to maximize your health? Personally, I want to be the elderly person still attacking life, doing insane things like: skydiving, base jumping, scuba diving, actively engaging, and playing with grandkids (and I don’t even have kids yet). However, I know that one day this will be very important to me. I’m a Midwestern guy, family and friends mean everything to me first and foremost. This is why I am going to do this; it’s for the life I want to have. My hope is that you will engage with me each week by asking questions and leaving comments, so I can address your needs as well.

Accountability

This is an area of life that I feel everyone has difficulties with, along with execution. I openly admit that I am doing this for personal reasons; holding myself accountable to help me execute this task. My word is my reputation. I think this statement still resonates with many people these days, even in a busy and hungry society that seems overwhelming at times. Along with putting out informational material, I vow to foam roll every single day to improve my physical health. If you think you would like to do this as well, but don’t feel that you alone can hold yourself accountable, reach out to me and I will be there to help you! Together we can do this!

I appreciate those of you that have taken the time to read this! Even if I never meet you, I am still thankful for you. Each week I will address something related to foam rolling. The structure of the blog and the structure of the vlogs will be different, while covering the same topic for that given Friday. The blogs will be short and sweet, direct to the point. While the vlogs will be more whimsical. Engage with me and ask plenty of questions! If you do I promise I will get to those topics first. My goal is to produce so much content that you feel you will have a huge arsenal to help treat, maintain, and improve your physical health!
