The Novel Coronavirus has changed the game for many across all industries. It is both frustrating (for more reasons than anyone can possible outline) and exciting. We often find adversity to be negative, but it also gives us an opportunity for re-evaluating desires and goals. When we started ICT Muscle and Joint Clinic here in Wichita, we knew we wanted to become more than a standard chiropractic clinic. We wanted to offer chiropractic adjustments, soft-tissue treatments, and physical therapy type services all under one roof, within one visit, to produce superior results. However, we have not shared more than this. We want more. With the addition of our Westside location run by Dr. Sam Reals, we set out to create a hybrid office between chiropractic care and a gym atmosphere.

Why this Chiropractic and Gym Hybrid Model?

I remember during my first trimester at Cleveland Chiropractic College our President pointed at literature that indicated chiropractic care produced a better outcome than exercises (barely) and prescription medication (significantly) regarding eliminating or treating lower back pain. Many of my colleges were jazzed by this! For me, I saw more potential. If I combined the best of both worlds, rehab exercises and chiropractic adjustments, then I may be able to help more people to a further degree than either alone! This was, and still is, exciting and what has led us down the path of creating a hybrid chiropractic and rehab clinic.

Our goal is to produce the most comprehensive medical-to-gym facility in Wichita, Kansas.

Since we opened our doors in Wichita, KS, in 2016 we have become the number 1 overall Google rated chiropractic clinic and have joined the Wichita Eagle’s Readers choice award for favorite chiropractic office in 2019. An honor we hold very high and thank the individuals and groups who have walked through our doors. Truly this was and is all for you! For those of you who read this, you know this to be true!

Target Audience / Type of Gym Facility

We will have many different “off-shoots” of small group gym classes. The type of class will also depend on the doctor who will be instructing the class. Just as you have different goals within fitness, so do our doctors in educating and training people. Each doctor will outline and discuss their goals and focus for the greater Wichita Metro. This might seem confusing at first, but I promise it will not be. If a person can express their passion more freely that is unique to them, then they will produce you better results. I truly feel this way is why I constantly remind our team that we each may be different, but we are stronger together in tackle our goals (even though they may be slightly different). For me, I will be focusing on teaching mini seminars and bringing in other practitioners to teach who will help compliment this overall goal (health and wellness). So, not to be a cop-out, I will highlight my personal vision in another post to come soon. This post is largely to highlight our interest, vision, and expression into remolding into something more.

ICT Muscle and Joint Clinic’s Future

As I write this, I and our team have many exciting ideas and are looking forward to the future. However, just like many of you reading this, I did not see the Coronavirus halting our economy in January. As a result, our timing of releasing these programs have changed. Hopefully, we are through the worst of this all. Either way, we at ICT Muscle and Joint Clinic will do everything we can to help go from pain to performance, and then keep you there if you so desire.

All the best to the future for all,

Keith
